Obituary for Robert Nolan
(1945-1999)Robert NOLAN, 54, of Vandalia, died Sept. 17, 1999, at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
Funeral services for Mr. NOLAN were Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia. The Revs. Marvin Jones and Bob Balwanz officiated. Burial was at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. NOLAN was born Feb. 8, 1945, to Grant and Mildred HALL NOLAN. He was married to Roberta BUENEMAN on Sept. 6, 1986, in Vandalia. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Robyn LYBARGER of Laddonia; four stepsons, Earl RODGERS of Hannibal, Eric RODGERS of Monroe City, Elton RODGERS of Columbia and E.J. RODGERS of Jefferson City; one brother, Gary NOLAN of Vandalia; one sister, Brenda JOHNSON of Oak Grove; one grandchild, Kati LYBARGER; and four step-grandchildren, Kayla, Jacob, Blake and Logan RODGERS. Mr. NOLAN lived in the Vandalia area all of his life. He worked at Harbinson-Walker for many years where he was a transfer operator. He was a member of the Mount Olivet Church and the Mark Twain Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the donor's choice.
The Holt Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements.
