February 11, 1854
[Transcriber's Note:  It's hard to read the date at the top - I'm sure it's February 1854, but hard to tell if it's the 11th, 15th or something else:]


On settlement with George PRESLEY administrator of the Estate of David PRESLEY deceased, upon adjusting his accounts the Court find that the full amount which has come to the hands of said administrator belonging to said Estate, is Three hundred and fifty six dollars & 74 cents, and that he is entitled to a credit against said Estate of one hundred and ninety dollars & 36 cents, leaving a balance in his hands belonging to said Estate of One hundred and sixty six dollars & 38 cents, which is ordered to be distributed as follows to wit: to Peter PRESLEY's heirs Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to George PRESLEY Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to David PRESLEY Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Jacob PRESLEY's heirs Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cts, to Anthony PRESLEY's heirs, Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to William PRESLEY's heirs Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Polly CANTREL, Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Betsey GILLILAND Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Nancy COX Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Lewis PRESLEY Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, to Peter PRESLEY Fourteen dollars & 54 6/11 cents, which when done will leave the sum of Six dollars & 38 cents in said administrator's hands, which he is ordered to retain for further contingent expenses, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that there are no further assets in, or likely to come to this hands belonging to said Estate, he is discharged from further annual settlements.

May Term 1858

Now here George PRESLEY Administrator of Elijah PRESLEY Deceased files his report of the sale of the Real Estate belonging to the Estate of said decd by which it appears that in pursuance of an order made at the Nov. term of this Court for 1857 he did proceed  to sell for the purpose of paying the debt against said Estate unpaid for want of sufficient assets, to wit: the E 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 of Sec 33, T.50, R.1W. containing 80 Acres, at the Court House door in Troy in said County of Lincoln on the 8th day of February and during the setting of the county Court of said County And after crying the same in the presence of many bidders the same was struck off and sold to Wallace S. DUNN for the price and sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars for which he gave his bond with approved Security, which is approved by the Court.

Now here George PRESLEY Administrator of the Estate of Elijah PRESLEY ___ appears before the justices of Lincoln County in Open Court and acknowledges a deed to Wallace S. DUNN for the E 1/2 of the SE qr of Sec 33. T. 50 Range 1W.

May Term 1865

Now here Samuel HOWELL Administrator of the Estate of George PRESLEY decd appears for final Settlement and makes proof that all persons interested in said Estate have been notified of his intention to apply at this Term for said Final Settlement by a publication in the Troy Gazette, a paper printed in this County. Upon adjusting his accounts the Court find that he is indebted to said Estate, exclusive of all credits in the sum of $164.13, which he is ordered to pay as follows to wit.

To Levi PRESLEY        $20.00        To Emily BARNES $20.00
To Philip PRESLEY       20.00         To Willis PRESLEY 20.00
To Reuben PRESLEY     20.00         To Irena PRESLEY 20.00
To Delilah BARNES       20.00        To Mary M. PRESLEY 20.00

which when done will leave the sum of Four 13/100 Dollars in the hands of said Admin. And he is discharged from further annual settlements.

Now here Samuel HOWELL Administrator of the State of Hannah PRESLEY, dec. appears for final settlement and makes proof to the Satisfaction of Court that all persons interested in said Estate have been notified of his intention to apply at this term for said final Settlement by a publication made in the Troy Gazette a paper printed in this County. Upon adjusting his accounts the Court find that he is indebted to said Estate, exclusive of all credits in the sum of $301.23 which he is ordered to pay as follows to wit

To Philip PRESLEY        37.00    To Willis PRESLEY     37.00
To Reuben PRESLEY      37.00    To Irena PRESLEY        37.00

which when done will leave the sum of Five 23/100 Dollars in the hands of said Admin and he is discharged from further annual Settlements.
