HOWDESHELL, Joseph - will dated 20 May 1841
"...at this time in good health yet knowing the uncertain state of this transitory life..." Wife, Mary Howdeshell, all estate and at her death to be divided among my children, namely, William, John, Henry, Hiram, David, Elizabeth (now Burch [should be Burts]), Mary (now Thompson) and my son Joseph.
