Obituary for Vivian Mayme Borgelt Ramsour Witte  (1923-1980)

            Vivian Mayme WITTE was born at Moscow Mills, February 15, 1923 the daughter of Frank and Annie LANSCHE BORGELT.  She passed away in the Audrain County Medical Center, Mexico, Mo., Saturday evening, January 12, 1980.  She was 56 years, 9 months and 27 days of age.

            As an infant, Mrs. WITTE was baptized in the Friedens E & R Church of Moscow Mills.  She attended the schools of Moscow Mills and Troy.

            She was married to LeRoy RAMSOUR in 1942.  Mr. RAMSOUR passed away in 1960.  Two children were born to this union.

            On May 13, 1961, she was married to Martin WITTE of Troy.  One daughter was born to this union.  In 1964, the couple moved to Mexico and in 1974 they moved to a farm at Benton City, Mo., near Mexico.

            Mrs. WITTE was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Martin WITTE of their residence; one son, Robert RAMSOUR and his wife, Garnell, of Troy; two daughters: Delores and her husband, Tom HARRELL of Lawrence, Indiana, and Pat WITTE of the residence; three grandsons; one granddaughter; her husband’s sisters and brothers: Leona THORNHILL, June ANDERSON, Jim WITTE, Harry WITTE, and Joe WITTE and their families, other relatives and friends.

            Mrs. WITTE’s  funeral service was held from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy, Tuesday, January 15.  The Rev. Lester Zacher was the minister in charge.  Interment was in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, Troy.  Casket bearers were Jack HOPKINS, Eddie LESTER, C.O. ANDERSON, Edward STARKEY, Howard FAIRCHILD, and Kenny FAIRCHILD.
