Mrs. Tice WILSON

A cloud of gloom and sadness was cast over this community Monday morning, Feb. 2nd when word went out that Mrs. Tice WILSON had passed away, a victim of flu and pneumonia. Death could not have laid his icey fingers on a more select character than Mrs. WILSON. A true and noble companion as a wife; a loving and affectionate mother; a splendid neighbor; a true Christian and a willing church worker. She filled to the fullest measure every demand that is made to be a true good woman.

She was the daughter of J. W. and Sue HEADY and was born near Troy, April 7, 1887. She married John H. WILSON, of Hawk Point, November 28, 1906. Three bright, beautiful daughters came to bless this union. She joined the Troy Christian Church in early womanhood and truly kept her vows as a Christian. She was frail in body but her optimistic spirit carried sunshine everywhere she went. Funeral services were held in the home, conducted by the writer, Wednesday morning and the body laid to rest in Troy Cemetery. "Them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him."- M. D. Dudley
