GRAVESIDE FOR MRS. WELLS

Funeral services for Mrs. Inez F. WELLS age 83, of Lenexa, Kansas, were held at the graveside in Troy City Cemetery at 11o'clock Friday morning, April 27, 1973. Mrs. WELLS died in Lenexa Tuesday, April 24th.

The Rev. James Flannagan, pastor of the First Christian Church in Troy, was in charge of services.The benediction was given by Mrs. WELLS' so-in-law, the Rev. Robert STEERS.

Casketbearers were Austin Creech, Harold Cannon, Melvin Campbell, Melvin Braungardt, Eldon Turnbull and Ed Manly.

Mrs. WELLS was born August 27, 1889 in Troy, Mo., the daughter of David and Mamie DRYDEN TURNBULL. She was married to Dr. William H. WELLS,who died in November of 1972. Dr. and Mrs. WELLS lived in St.Louis most of their married life. He practiced dentistry in St. Louis for over 50 years. About two and one-half years ago they moved to Lenexa, Kansas.

Surviving Mrs WELLS are three daughters: Mrs. Robert ( Elaine ) STEERS, of Kansas City, Mrs. Milton ( Maxine) HANSEN of Overland Park , Kansas, and Mrs. Charles ( Elinor ) REEDER of Frontenac, M. one son, William D. WELLS, of Creve Coeur, Mo., grandchildren; two brothers, Owen TURNBULL and Eldon TURNBULL, both of Troy; one sister, Mrs. Clyde BRANNON, of St. Charles, and other relatives. Arrangements were through the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home of Troy.
