Edwin John WEITKAMP, of rural Wright City, was born at Hawk Point, MO., on May 9, 1900, the son of August and Ida KARRENBROCK WEITKAMP. He passed away at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital on July 19, 1973 at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 10 days.

He was united in marriage to Miss Elaine Leah CREECH, of Moscow Mills, who preceded him in death October 8, 1969.

Mr. WEITKAMP was a farmer in Lincoln County most of his life.

He is survived by one son, Melvin WEITKAMP, and wife, Glenda; two sisters, Mrs. Anna NAU, of Moscow Mills and Mrs. Amanda WESTERMANN, of Bellflower; one brother, Ernest WEITKAMP, of Wright City; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were read at the McCoy-Paul Funeral Home on Sunday, July 22, 1973, at 2:00 p.m., by Mrs. Augusta Dean.

Interment was in the Anderson Hill Cemetery at Moscow Mills.
