Funeral services for Donald Dean TWELLMANN, of Troy, MO., were held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000, at the Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home in Troy. Interment was in the Friedens/Anderson Hill Cemetery near Moscow Mills.

Mr. TWELLMANN, 53, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at his home. He had been in failing health since March this year.

The son of Ray Albert and Darline (MUNZEL) TWELLMANN, he was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Moscow Mills. On March 9, 1968, at Old Monroe, he married Anna Lee ROBERTS.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; his mother, Darline TWELLMANN of Moscow Mills; one daughter, Tracy Renee TWELLMANN, Troy; one son, Craig Douglas TWELLMANN and wife, Denise, St. Charles; one brother, Ronald TWELLMANN and wife, Alberta, Moscow Mills.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray TWELLMANN.

Mr. TWELLMANN grew up in Moscow Mills. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. He had been a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years. He was a member of the Troy American Legion Post No. 94.

Visitation was held from 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 until the time of service.
