George TURNBULL

Funeral services for George Anderson TURNBULL, of Hawk Point, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the Hawk Point Chapel Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home. Burial followed at Sulphur Lick Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Mr. TURNBULL, 83, died of natural causes at his residence.

He was born Feb. 15, 1911, at Old Monroe, the son of Orian and Mary Hardy TURNBULL. On Nov. 28,1942, at Hillsboro, he married his wife , Alvina.

He is survived by his wife, Alvina of Hawk Point; one daughter, Georgia PEARSON, and her husband, George PEARSON, of Marthasville; four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild (1 ? perhaps gggrandchild? jg)

He was a retired laborer in the construction industry.

Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Hawk Point Chapel.
