Mrs. Jennie TRAIL Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Jennie TRAIL, highly esteemed resident of Troy, passed away at her home Thursday morning, January 28, about 1:30 o’clock, of a heart attack, after an illness of only about half an hour.

Mrs. TRAIL, a daughter of George and Jane COOSE, was born on November 12, 1854, near Silex, being at the time of her death 83 years, 2 months and 16 days of age. She was married to Richard A. TRAIL of Troy, who preceded her in death a number of years ago.

For many years, Mrs. TRAIL conducted "Trail’s Inn" which was known far and near for its hospitality and which was one of the best hostelries in this section of the state.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Jennie D. KELLY of Chicago, and Richard A. TRAIL, of Troy, and one grandson, Bob Ed KELLY of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning at the Troy Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Fred P. HANES. Burial will be in the Troy City Cemetery.
