Arthur Luedon Tillotson - Oregonian, The (Nov/5/2003) 05/08/03

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, in Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary in Rainier for Arthur Luedon TILLOTSON, who died May 4 at age 81.

Mr. TILLOTSON was born Sept. 11, 1921, in Elsberry, Mo. During World War II, he served in the Navy in the South Pacific and received a Purple Heart. He moved in 1946 to Portland and was an ironworker for Mercer Steel for 30 years. He moved in 1982 to Rainier. In 1946, he married Phyllis M. GLADNEY; she died in 1984.

Survivors include his son, Ed L.; brother, George; sisters, Mary TEASLEY, Albert HAWKINS, Serena McCLELLAN and Bobbie D. FOX; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His daughter Linda VANDERVORT died in 1980.
