            Loretta Eileen HILL THOMAS died suddenly early Friday morning, May 11, 1973 at her home in Rock Hill, Mo.  Born May 7, 1926 at Moscow Mills, she was the daughter of Mary CARTER and Edgar HILL.  Funeral services were conducted Monday morning from the Park-Aldrich Funeral Home in Webster Groves, Rev. Lester Zacher officiating.

            Mrs. THOMAS was a member of the Moscow Mills United Methodist Church and was active in many community projects.  She, her husband, Wm. (Bill), and daughter, Rebecca, maintained a country home near Moscow Mills, spending summer and many weekends there.

            She and her husband had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, Sunday, May 6th.

            Besides her husband, Wm., and daughter, Rebecca, survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mary HILL, Moscow Mills; one sister, Mrs. Orville (Leona) HUTTON, Troy; 3 brothers, Geo. HILL, Jefferson City, James HILL, Marthasville, and Harold HILL, Flint Hill; 2 aunts, Mrs. George HUGHES and Mrs. Owen ANDERSON of Moscow Mills; other relatives and many friends.
