Mrs. Doris TERRY of Troy passed away in the Maple Grove Nursing Home, Louisiana, Mo., just before midnight June 5, 1985. She was 61 years of age.

Funeral services for Mrs. TERRY will be at 10 o’clock Saturday morning June 8, 1985 at the First Baptist Church in Troy. The church pastor, the Rev. Bill Combs will be in charge. Interment will be in the Troy City Cemetery.

Doris Mae TERRY was born in Montgomery County, Mo., December 7, 1923, the daughter of William T. and Rose CANSER RICHARDSON. She was married September 12, 1941 to Ralph TERRY, who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) McDONALD of Blue Springs, Mo., one son, Dennis TERRY of Troy, her mother Rose RICHARDSON of Louisiana, Mo., five grandchildren, two sisters: Mrs. Wilber (Mildred) REED of Louisiana and Mrs. Eleanor SCHULTE of St. Charles, Mo., other relatives and innumerable friends.

Mrs. TERRY was a retired clerk-typist, having worked for Martin Abstract Co. for many years, and later in the Lincoln County Courthouse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy, the Troy Chapter No. 405, Order of Eastern Star, the Lincoln County Women’s Democratic Club, the Bernice Withrow Federated Club, the Thursday Night Classic Bowling League and was a member of the Women’s Bowling Congress.

Visitation continues at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy until time of services. There will be an Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
