            Mrs. Mary Frances STEPANEK, life long resident of Lincoln County, passed away at her home on Old Highway 61, South, Troy, Wednesday evening, February 11, 1976.  She was 81 years of age.

            The Rev. James Flynn, pastor of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Troy, conducted funeral services for Mrs. STEPANEK at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, February 13, 1976, from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Sacred Heart cemetery, Troy.

            Casket bearers were Forest MYERS, Rex BECKMAN, Rudy KAUZLARICH, William HICKS HASSELFELD, Robert HASSELFELD, Jr., and Ted SCHNEIDER.

            She was born at Hawk Point, Mo., April 1, 1894, the daughter of John and Martha MOSLEY HASSELFELD.  She was married to Paul G. STEPANEK who preceded her in death. 

            She is survived by a foster daughter, Peggy and her husband, Raymond KRAFT, two foster grandsons, and one foster granddaughter, all of Troy; two brothers: William HASSELFELD, of Troy and Robert HASSELFELD of Tilden, Ill., a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
