Nola Simmons

ELSBERRY--Services for Nola May Simmons, 83 of the Elsberry area will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ricks Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Turnbull is in charge. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Simmons died Sunday at a Troy Hospital.

She was born September 5, 1893 at Whiteside to Abram and Laura Robinson Dameron. She was married Nov. 16, 1913 at Elsberry to Henry U. G. Simmons. He died Jan. 1, 1965.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Bobeen of Troy; two sons, Norman Ellis Simmons and Carrol Lee Simmons, both of Elsberry; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

She was a lifetime resident of Lincoln County and a member of the Smith Chapel, United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the Ricks Funeral Home.
