Obituary for Henry Sievert  (1896-1981)

            Funeral services for Henry W. SIEVERT were held on Saturday, February 14, at the Nieburg-Brown Funeral Home in Wright City, Missouri.  The Rev. James H. Williams of the Immanuel United Church of Christ officiated.   Interment was in the Wright City Cemetery.

            Mr. SIEVERT passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1981, in the Gamma Road Lodge, Wellsville, Mo.  He had attained the age of 84 years at his time of death.

            He was born March 24, 1896, at Wright City, the son of August and Johanna (nee WINDMANN) SIEVERT.  He was baptized on April 21, 1896, and confirmed on March 12, 1912 in the Evangelical Church in Wright City.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Fred, William, and Edward; his sisters: Carrie VAHLE, Hanna MOELLER and Emma WEITKAMP.

            Surviving Mr. SIEVERT are his brother, August SIEVERT and his wife, Mamie, of Moscow Mills; two sisters: Mrs. Louise HASEKAMP of Wright City and Mrs. Stanley (Minnie) THILKING of Lavasy; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Clara SIEVERT and Mrs. Esther SIEVERT; several nephews, nieces and other friends.

            Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Nieburg-Brown Funeral Home of Wright City.
