[This is some one by the name ? B. Shannon parts are missing.]

------------Colorado---------and friends of -------B. SHANNON were shocked --Friday to learn of his unexpected death at a hospital in Denver, Colorado. The details of his death were learned later. He had been working for a street car compay there and after a recent two days attack of what was considered the grip returned to his duties but was only able to work a day. A physician who was called in pronounced his case pneumonia and he was taken to the hospital where for three or four days his condition was not considered serious. Then he was delirious for two days and his death occurred at 4 a.m. Friday March 12, only a few minutes after his wife, who had been summoned from her home, reached his bedside.

His remains, accompanied by his wife, reached South Troy early Monday morning, his brother Arlie meeting the funeral party in Kansas City. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Elder S. COPHER and interrment at Troy cemetery followed. The large concourse in attendance testified to the esteem in which the unfortunate young man was held among his former neighbors. There were many beautiful floral offerings, from the Denver street car men, the Hawk Point Christian Church of which he was a member, St. Louis friends and others.

---------B. SHANNON was a son.........* Mrs. S. R. SHANNON-------old the 22nd of----- He was married ------------07 to Miss Stella-------------last Nov. went---

[Transcriber's Note:
