Peter H. SCHULZE Dies

Early Saturday morning, Peter Henry SCHULZE passed away at his home east of Troy.

Mr. SCHULZE, who was one of Lincoln County’s most prominent farmers, was born in the Big Creek neighborhood November 20, 1871 and was 70 years of age at the time of his death.

On April 14, 1897, he was married to Anna SCHAPER, and to them were born four children. The oldest, Florence, a son, died at the age of 14 in 1917. Two sons, Albert and Harry, and one daughter Anna V., are left to mourn the passing of their father. Mrs. SCHULZE preceded her husband in death in 1938.

Mr. SCHULZE is also survived by his brothers, Herman of Auxvasse, Gus and Otto of Troy, and Fred of Moscow Mills; his sisters Miss Alvine SCHULZE, Mrs. Pauline EVERSMEYER of Troy and Mrs. Wilhelmina STRASSEMEIR of Moscow Mills and one aunt, Mrs. Hanna JUNGMAN of St. Louis and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Troy Methodist Church Monday afternoon by Rev. Fred P. HANES, assisted by Rev. GAINES. Interment was made in the Troy Cemetery.
