OBITUARY

Luvena Emma SCHROER ( nee WITTE ), daughter of the late John and Anna WITTE ( nee WOHLER ) passed away at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy, Missouri, on December 11, 1972, being 76 years and 11 months of age. Mrs. SCHROER was born at Jonesburg, Missouri, on January 11, 1896.

On March 30,1896 she was baptized in High Hill, Missouri. On November 25, 1914, she was married to Garrett John SCHROER who preceeded her passing on October 10, 1964. She was also preceeded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers and one brother and sister in infancy.

She is survived by three children: Elmer, of the home; Lillian and her husband, Russel BOULANGER, of Wrght City; and Alta Mae and her husband, Raymond WEINRICH, of Hawk Point; three grandchildren: Dennis WEINRICH , Overland Park , Ks., Phyllis and her husband, Michael STOLLE, of Columbia; and Kathy BOULANGER of Wright City; one sister Flora CREECH of Troy; three brothers : John WITTE of St. Charles, Herman WITTE of Jonesburg, and William WITTE of Troy. Also surviving are four sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

All of her married life was spent in the Hawk Point area. She enjoyed the country life with her life-long friends and neighbors. Mrs. SCHROER had been ill about a year before her passing. She will be greatly missed in her home and community.

Mrs. SCHROER's services were held on December 14, 1972, at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Wright City, with interment in the Wright City Cemetery. Rev. Harry Ring officiated.

Serving as pallbearers were: Maurice N. Witte; Wm H. Creech, Jr.; Richard Kaiser; Roger Witte; Manuel Mueller; and Ronald Witte.
