Obituary for Carrie Lee Schroeder  (1884-1974)

            Carrie Lee SCHROEDER was born at Moscow Mills, Mo., Oct. 24, 1884, the daughter of David J. and Chloe FAVORITE CLARK.

            She passed away in the St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Creve Couer, Mo., Thursday, March 28, 1974 at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 4 days.

            On December 15, 1907, she was united in marriage to Ernie SCHROEDER by the Rev. Carl.

            Mr. and Mrs. SCHROEDER first lived at Moscow Mills.  They later moved to St. Louis, where their only child was born.   The remainder of their married life was spent at their farm at Moscow Mills, and in St. Louis.  Mrs. SCHROEDER  was living in St. Louis at the time of her passing.

            Mr. SCHROEDER passed away in November of 1961.  Others who preceded her in death were her sisters, Mrs. Ibbie Earl SHEPHERD and Mrs. Mary Magdelen SCHAFER.

            She is survived by her daughter, Annabelle and her husband, Louis McCARTY, of St. Louis, one grandson, Terry McCARTY and his wife, Jan, of St. Louis, four nieces: Mrs. Trevie CREECH, Mrs. Lucille CROUCH, Mrs. Opal RUSSELL and Mrs. Charles HUMPHREY; several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

            Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. James Flanagan Sunday afternoon, March 31st, from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment was in the Anderson Hill Cemetery.

            Casket bearers were Dick LAVY, Bud LEITMAN, Hubert C. LAVY, LeRoy LAVY, Terry McCARTY and Charles HUMPHREY.
