            Orville W. SCHNEIDER, 84, of Marthasville died November 1, 1999 at home.  He was born Jan. 16, 1915, in Marthasville.

            Services were Nov. 5 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Marthasville with interment in the Marthasville City Cemetery.

            Mr. SCHNEIDER was a retired real estate agent for United Farm Co. of Marthasville and a former Marthasville city clerk.  He also was a dairy farm operator with his own milk route; a school bus driver; a house, barn and roof painter.

            He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  He and his wife sang at many events.

            He is survived by two brothers-in-law, Louis MORDT of Troy and Robert MORDT of Ballwin; seven sisters-in-laws, Alvina DAVIS of New Florence, Ella WINTER of Phoenix, Meta LUELF and Sadie MORDT, both of Warrenton, Marie BRAKEMEYER of Godfrey, Ill., Laura ROLFE of Centralia and Esther GREEN of Florissant; nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora M. (MORDT) SCHNEIDER.
