PHILLIP ROGGE

Funeral services for Phillip Darrell ROGGE of Hawk Point, were held at 11 a.m. at the Corinth Christian Church. Pastor Scott Groshong officiated. Interment followed at the Corinth Cemetery west of Foley.

Mr. ROGGE, 69, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at his residence.

Born April 27, 1934, in Lyman, Neb., he was the son of George and Marjorie Irene FRENCH ROGGE. On June 20, 1959, he married Jennie HILTON in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death on October 17, 1996.

He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Berlin, Germany. He was a truck driver for Transit from 1994 until his retirement and a member of local No. 3 Operators Engineers. He started Rogge Excavation Company in 1973 and worked until 1986. In 1968-69 he was president of the Fraternal Order of Moose in Orville, Calif.

He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Dawn MILLER and husband, Roy, of Center, Colo. and Susan Linnet GREWE and husband, Kevin, of Troy; one brother, David ROGGE, Lincoln, Neb.; one sister, Donna HUGHES, Torrington, Wy. and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the community Loving Care Hospice, 251 E. Pearce Blvd. Wentzville, Mo. 63385.

Kemper-Marsh-Mallard Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
