Obituary for Erssie May Brown Robinson (1892-1981)

            Erssie May ROBINSON was born March 1, 1892 in rural Lincoln, County, Mo., the first daughter of Joel P. and Elizabeth BAXTER BROWN. She passed away in the Winfield Boarding  Home, Winfield, Mo., Friday night, July 3, 1981 at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 2 days.

            Mrs. ROBINSON was first married  to Henry TWELLMAN, who passed away. She later was married to Pearl BRAY. During their married life they lived in Florida. After he passed away, she returned to Lincoln County. Several years ago, she was married to Frank ROBINSON. Mr. ROBINSON passed away a few years ago. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Dora Lee TWELLMAN.           

            Surviving Mrs. ROBINSON are her two sisters: Joan  HOPKINS of Troy and Abby and her husband Woodrow HILL of Moscow Mills; her sister, Dora Lee’s husband, Ed TWELLMAN of Moscow Mills; eleven nieces and nephews, cousins; her stepchildren, who are the children of Mr. ROBINSON: Julia and her husband, Carl FIORITO of Hazelwood, David ROBINSON and his wife, EMMAJEAN of Des Moines, Iowa, Betty and her husband Thomas FUCOLORO of Pacific, Paul Eugene ROBINSON of Oakville, and Shelby ROBINSON and his wife, Joyce of Platte City, and many, many friends.

            The Rev. Eldon Kirks, pastor of the Wright City Church of the Nazarene, conducted services for Mrs. ROBINSON Monday afternoon July 6, 1981 at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.

            Interment was in Troy E & R Cemetery. Casket bearers were Gary HILL, J. E. TWELLMAN. Kent HILL, Bill HOPKINS, Ernie BURKEMPER and Bill WATTS.
