September 5th Aunt Julia RIFFLE's Funeral in the Church conducted by Bro. Gentry, a large crowd of sorrowing Brothers and Sisters and friends listened to a splendid funeral discourse delivered by Bro. Gentry. Aunt Julia RIFFLE at the time of her death was the oldest member of Corinth Church being 71 years old January 26, 1890. Aunt Julia was a faithful member in the Christian Church for about 50 years and died resting in the Lord and Savior.

note. Julia's niece Mrs. Susie Allen Meadows told me Julia was to marry one of my Hilton family. However he had gone west on a wagon train to look for gold and was killed by Indians. Julia was so grieved she never did marry. jg.]
