Elsberry- Funeral services for Ernest Freeman "Jack" RICKS, 51, of Elsberry, have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday from the Ricks Funeral Home here. The Rev. Marvin Braungardt is to officiate with burial at the Elsberry City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ricks funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m until noon Friday.

Mr. Ricks died at 2:40 p.m Wednesday at a Troy hospital where he had been a patient two weeks.

He was born Aug. 19, 1920, at Winfield, a son of Ernest E. and Dona Argent RICKS. On Nov. 27,1944 he was married to Ada Belle GRAHAM, who survives.

Mr. RICKS was a Naval veteran of W W II and was retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service with the Navy, Army, and Air Force. He was employed by an auto dealer in St. Louis and was a member of New Hope Lodge 199, AF & AM. He was also a member of the Winfield Baptist Church.

Suvivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Dona CROUCH of Troy; two daughters, Mrs. James (Myra) SUTTO of Hannibal, and Mrs. Robert (Donna) DAVIS of Elsberry; two grandchildren; a brother, Argent RICKS of Old Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Marie) MATT of St. Louis, Mrs John (Olivia) CHAMP of Memphis, Tenn. and Mrs. Martin (Donna) DUNARD of Troy; two step brothers, Levoyd and Clarence G. CROUCH, both of St. Louis; a step-sister, Mrs. James (Edna) BICKLE of Winfield and other relatives
