GOLDIE RAMSOUR DIES, Former Area Resident

Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Lee RAMSOUR of St. Charles, Mo. were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, Oct. 16, 1978 from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home of Troy. The minister was the Rev. J. Arnold Bickel, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Troy. Interment was in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, Troy Casket bearers were Gary Harrell, Tim McClure, Cliff Garrett, Jack Hopkins, Porter Conley and John Ramsour.

Mrs. RAMSOUR passed away early Saturday morning Oct. 14, 1978 at St. Joseph Hospital, St. Charles. She was 76 years of age.

She was born in the New Galilee Community of Lincoln County, near Troy, Nov. 18, 1901, the daughter of Burton and Sarah Bell RYBOLT JAMESON. She was married August 8, 1921 to Clarence RAMSOUR. Three children were born to this union. Mr. RAMSOUR and one son, Jessie LeRoy, preceded her in death, both in 1960.

She is survived by one son, Orion Eugene RAMSOUR; one daughter, Mrs. Willard ( Juanita) KORINEK, both of St. Charles; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. RAMSOUR became a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church near Elsberry in 1924.

She lived in Lincoln County until the early '50s when the family moved to St. Charles County, Mo. Just a few months ago she moved into the city of St. Charles.
