Obituary for Charles Ponder (d1956)

Charles PONDER, board chairman of the Missouri Gladiola Society, died of uremic poisoning yesterday (May 15, 1956) at Troy, Mo. He was 62 years old, had lived in Troy for about 35 years, and was a commercial grower of gladiolas.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ella PONDER; a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy WATTS, a son, J.C. PONDER, all of Troy; two sisters, Mrs. Edward F. GEORGE, and Mrs. Jo Allen BEEBE, both of St. Louis; and two brothers, Terrence V. PONDER, Louisville, KY., and Joseph PONDER, St. Louis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kemper-Marsh undertaking establishment at Troy, with burial at Troy.
