            Margie A. PHILLIPS, 65, of St. Charles, died Sunday (May 21, 2000) at her residence.

            Mrs. Phillips was a cook at Frenchtown Deli in St. Charles, where she had worked for 40 years. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 2866 in St. Charles

            Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Anderson Hill Cemetery in Moscow Mills.

            Among the survivors are a son, Steven Louis PHILLIPS of St. Charles; a daughter, Susan L. PHILLIPS DUFRENNE of Wright City; three brothers, Kenneth ECKSTEIN of Eldon, Bob ECKSTEIN of Pawhusla, Okla., and Donald ECKSTEIN of Springfield, Mo., and two grandchildren.

            Memorial contributions can be made to St. Charles Humane Society or Unity Hospice.
