Harold Frazier PAUGH     Wither's Mill     Aug. 6, 1923 - Oct. 2, 2003

Palmyra - Harold Frazier PAUGH, 80, of the Withers Mill community, passed away at 9:45 a. m. Thursday,Oct. 2, 2003 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Oct. 4, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Home in Palmyra. The Rev. Bruce Jefferies will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra .

------Mr. PAUGH was born Aug.6, 1923, in Okete in Lincoln County. He was the only child of Harold Orval PAUGH and Retta Moneaka FRAZIER. He was married to Emma Hilda BRIDGMAN, daughter of S. Franklin BRIDGMAN and Rosa Mabel ZUSPANN of the Woodland community, on July 22, 1946, in New London. His wife passed away April 17 of this year. Survivors include his father's sister-in-law, Louella, widow of Boyce Taylor FRAZIER, of Troy; a large number of nieces and nephews and cousins of both his FRAZIER and PAUGH brothers and sisters; his wife's brother , Josh BRIDGMAN of Palmyra; and her two sisters, Elsie BRIDGMAN PROUDFOOT and Lena BRIDGMAN TRUSTER of Midway, Tx., along with nieces and nephews and cousins of his wife's family. He was preceeded in death by his parents; and all the sibings of his parents-------------------.

------------------------FRAZIER's great-great-grandfather, Pulaski FRAZIER and his wife, Harriet DAVIS, came to Lincoln County in 1835 from Shelby County, Ky. His great-grandparents were Ezekial Davis FRAZIER and Sarah Easter ELSBERRY. His grandparents were William Washington FRAZIER and Henriette A. WHITE. Mr. PAUGH graduated from Palmyra High School in 1941, and was quite active in FFA---------His father passed away Sep. 1, 1947 ------His mother passed away Apri 24, 1981 in Columbia------------- Mr. PAUGH was a member of the Palmyra Methodist Church for more than 50 years. Memorials may be made to the Palmyra United Methodist Church or the Northeast Missouri Humane Society in Hannibal.
