            Dr. Ben L. NEUBEISER, 82, died Sunday, January 24, 1982 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., following a long illness.  His body was cremated and graveside memorial services will be held Thursday, January 28 at St. Peters Cemetery in St. Charles.

            He was married to the former Ruth ELLIS who preceded him in death.  A small son also preceded him.

            Surviving are one son: Dr. Roger E. NEUBEISER of Florida; four daughters: Mrs. Janet THOMPSON of California, Mrs. Robert (Nina) MURANO of Washington state, Mrs. Marcia DONNDELINGER of Oregon and Karen E. NEUBEISER of Florida; grandchildren and other relatives.

            Dr. NEUBEISER and his family resided in St. Charles where he was a well-known medical doctor and surgeon.  He was on the staff of St. Joseph Hospital, St. Charles and was affiliated with the St. Charles Medical Center.

            He was one of the founders and major stockholders when the Bank of Troy was organized in 1935 and served on the Board of Directors until that facility was sold to Boatmen’s in 1972.

            Following his retirement Dr. and Mrs. NEUBEISER moved to Florida to make their home.
