Mrs. Anna Caroline NAU passed away Friday morning, March 17, 1989 at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy. She had attained the age of 85 years, 3 months and 27 days.

She was born November 20, 1903 near Moscow Mills, Mo., a daughter of August Fred and Ida KARRENBROCK WEITKAMP Sr. She spent most of her lifetime in the Lincoln County area attending the Owens Station School and on April 20, 1927 was united in marriage with William Henry NAU. To this union were born three daughters, Wilhelmina, Carolyn and Emilie.

Surviving are two daughters, Wilhelmina HARRELL and husband, Melvin of Moscow Mills and Carolyn SHRAMEK and husband, Raymond of Middletown; one sister, Amanda WESTERMAN of Bellflower, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, one son-in-law, Charles MARTIN of Columbia, cousins, many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. NAU was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, one daughter, Emilie MARTIN and five brothers: William, Edwin, Amiel, August Jr. and Erie WEITKAMP.

Visitation was held from 3 to 8 pm Saturday, March 18 and Sunday from 9 am until 1 pm at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone Street, Troy and from 2 pm until 3 pm services at the Friedens UCC Church in Moscow Mills, Mo. Officiating was the Dr. John Riggs. Serving as organist was Miss Marie Himmel. Serving as soloist was Paul Kline who accompanied himself on the guitar. Interment followed in the Friedens Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

The casket bearers were Tony MARTIN, David MARTIN, James W. MARTIN, Doug SHRAMEK, Mark SHRAMEK and Bradley SHRAMEK. Serving as honorary casket bearers were Bill and Rodney SHRAMEK.

In memory of Mrs. NAU, contributions may be made to the Friedens UCC Church in Moscow Mills, Mo.

The Nau family was served by the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home of Troy, Mo.
