MRS. MULHERIN DIES THURSDAY
Mrs. Ida Melzina Mulherin, 77, passed away Thursday June 14. Mrs. Mulherin was born Feb. 28, 1874 at Dameron, Mo. The daughter of Melzina and John Damron. She married Samuel Mulherin 62 years ago. She was a member of the Elsberry Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband, two children, Mrs. Edward Grayson and Floyd Mulherin, grandchildren, Norman Curtis Evans, Arnold T. Evans, Bob Grayson, Dorothy Babe, Donald Mulherin, Freda Hurd of Ohio and 10 great-grandchildren. Two children, Cecil and Bessie, preceeded her in death.
Funeral services, directed by Miller Funeral Home, were held from the Elsberry Baptist Church by Rev. Marvin Fortel and Rev. C. D. O’Neil Sunday, June 17 at 2:00 p.m. The body lay in state at Miller Funeral Home until the funeral hour. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
