Bernard Miller, 88

Bernard Miller, 88, of Silex died

Monday, Feb. 8, 1982 at Lincoln

County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Mass was held at ll a.m.

today (Wednesday) at St. Alphonsus

Catholic Church in Millwood with

interment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

Mr. Miller, a retired farmer, was

born July 5, 1893, at Silex the son

of John B. and Mary Elizabeth Miller. 

He was married to Mabel Myers

Sept 15, 1917.   She died Jan 6, 1981. 

Mr. Miller attended Christian Brothers

College in St. Louis; was a member of

St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a

member of the Millwood Council

of Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by four sons, Jerry,

John, Joe and Justin Miller, all of

Silex; three daughters, Mrs. Elaine Gibbs

of Florissant, Mrs. Clara May Wierschem

of St. Charles and Mrs. Bonnie Brinker of

Washington, Mo.; 34 grandchildren and

40 great-grandchildren

Grandsons acted as pallbearers.
