EDGAR MASSIE FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY.

Funeral services for Edgar Franklin MASSIE, 90, a retired farmer residing in the Asbury neighbourhood, passed away Monday April 25, following failing health for several years. Funeral services were held at 2pm Wednesday, from the Asbury Methodist Church, with Rev. Glenn Jones from St Charles officiating. Burial was in the Asbury chapel cemetery. Mr MASSIE was born July 19, 1864 in Lincoln County and was a son of Henry and Emma DRYDEN MASSIE. In 1885 he was married to Susan GENTRY who preceded his death in 1928 and in 1939 he was married to Mrs Lou Belle Ta......... who survives him. Mr MASSIE is survived by his son Efton of Moscow Mills. He was a successful farmer, retiring in 1....... He was a member of the Asbury Methodist church. Besides his son and wife he leaves several grandchildren. Bessie CROUCH, a daughter died in 1937. Rick's Funeral Home, Winfield, took charge of the funeral.
