Obituary for Sallie Lanier (1827-1903)

Mrs. Sallie LANIER died at the home of her son-in-law, L. G. BRANDES April 21. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. BRANDES Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Kennedy, after which the body was interred in the Robinson Cemetery, just north of town, where a husband and several children repose. Mrs. LANIER was a most estimable lady. She was in the 76th year of age.

[Transcriber's notes:  I remember being with Marion Groshong and my son Keith Groshong when we copied this cem. June 21, 1978. At that time it was on the Melvin Braungardt property. The property is now a golf course. I was told the cemetery has been preserved. I believe it is Woods Fort, not Royal Oaks  .j.g.]
