Services for Arthur Clifford LANGFORD, Bowling Green, were held Friday at Kirks Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W.G. Mitchell officiating. Mrs. Rodes Hood was soloist accompanied by Beth McCune. Interment was in the United Church of Christ Cemetery near Moscow Mills.

Casket bearers were Guy HICKERSON, Charles BECKER, Unsell PASCHAL, Tom WILLIAMS, John HARRISON and Robert MOORE.

Mr. LANGFORD, 84 years of age, died Jan. 2, 1980 at the University Medical Center, Columbia where he had been a patient for over two months.

He was born Aug. 26, 1895 near Louisiana, one of 10 children of Lawrence Henry and Laura HUMPHERY LANGFORD. On Feb. 17, 1917 he was married to Alma Blanche CHILTON. Two daughters were born, Mrs. Guy (Melba) HICKERSON of Bowling Green and Mrs. George (Wanda) ADAMS of Troy. Mrs. ADAMS preceded him in death.

On Dec. 7, 1958 Mr. LANGFORD was married to Irene DEPPING who survives. Also surviving with his daughter are a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles (Cherilyn) BECKER, Bowling Green; two sisters, Mrs. Mayme GROSS, St. Louis and Mrs. Irene PENN of Mexico; and a brother, Pearl LANGFORD of Mexico.

Mr. LANGFORD was a member of the United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills and a member of the Moscow Masonic Lodge, No. 558 where he served as master in 1948.
