Raymond A. KOEHLER of Wright City died of Leukemia Sunday morning, April 13, 1986 at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. He was 79.

He was born January 30, 1907 in St. Louis to Frank H. and Anne BRASE KOEHLER. The family moved to rural Lincoln county in 1912. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Walter, Gilbert and Roy.

He was married to Carleen Marie SCHAPER on September 20, 1945. They lived on the family farm until 1965 when they moved to Wright City.

He is survived by his wife, Carleen, his very close brothers and sisters by marriage and nieces and nephews.

Mr. KOEHLER was a self-employed farmer and carpenter and had been a substitute mail carrier. He was a member of the Wright City Lion’s Club, the Pauldingville Lodge, the Shriner’s and the Scottish Rite of St. Louis. Also a 30 year member of the Carpenter’s Union – Local 3202, Warrenton.

Services were held April 15, 1986 at the Nieburg-Brown Funeral Home in Wright City with the Rev. Harry Ring officiating. Burial was in the Wright City Cemetery.
