Obituary—H.W. KLAUSTERMEIER

Henry William KLAUSTERMEIER was born in Germany on the 28th of July, 1863, was christened the 2nd of August, 1863. He came to America in 1867. He became a member of the Evangelical Church through the rights of confirmation, the 14th of April, 1878, at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Church at Old Monroe. His membership was later transferred to the Troy Evangelical Church, in 1909. He was united in marriage to Miss Wilhelmina GOOS, of Old Monroe, April 12, 1888. Four children were born to this union, two of them died in infancy; one son Henry William KLAUSTERMEIER, died in March, 1926 and one daughter is living, Mrs. Mattie LUDWIG. He also leaves to mourn the loss, his wife, one son-in-law, H. W. LUDWIG, two grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, three step-sisters and one step-brother, and many other relatives and friends.

He died January 27, at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 29 days. Mr. KLAUSTERMEIER was a good man, an upright citizen and a kindly Christian gentleman who had the respect of all who knew him. We extend sympathy to the sorrowing family.
