Services For Champ C. KITSON

Funeral services for Champ Clark KITSON, age 74 years, 10 months and 29 days, were held at 2:00 p.m. on August 23 in Flag Spring Assembly of God Church at St. James with Rev. Gary Bartle officiating and burial in the Meramac Hills Cemetery at Cuba. (Mo.jg)

Mr. KITSON died at his home at Cuba, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

He was born Sep. 21, 1901 at Winfield, a son of Edward J. and Annie DIXON KITSON.

On August 9, 1928, at Hamburg, IL., he was married to Leona WATTS, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Edward G. KITSON, Union and Kenneth E. KITSON, Collinsville, IL.; three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Margie) DIETRICH and Mrs. Jim (Audrey) ANDERSON, both of Cuba, and Mrs. Jim ( Melody) CRAWFORD, Denver, Co. and three sisters, Nina TAYON, Rosie GRAVENS and Mrs. Hewett (Alma) HUTTON, all of Winfield, twenty-four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Flag Spring Assembly of God Church and a retired sheet-metal worker at McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corp. of St. Louis. Ricks Funeral Directors were in charge of the services and the body was in state at the Ricks Funeral Home in winfield on August 21.
