MARY HILDA KELLY

Funeral services for Mary Hilda KELLY were held Feb. 27, at Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. The Rev. Eugene Roberts, pastor of the New Salem Baptist Church, officiated and burial was in the New Salem Cemetery.

Mrs. KELLY, 78, died Feb. 25, at her home in Winfield. She was born June 7, 1896 in Winfield, the daughter of the late Hiram Link and Martha Ann TURNBULL BIRKHEAD. On Dec. 23, 1914, she was married in St. Louis to Albin Wylie KELLY who preceded her in death on July 30, 1970. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Hiram Clinton KELLY and Edward Lee KELLY, both of Winfield; one brother, Carlyle BIRKHEAD of Overland; one sister, Mrs. Dallas (Edna) MONTGOMERY Sr., of Troy; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
