Services for Emma KARRENBROCK (nee SCHACHER) of 308 N. Linn Ave., Wentzville, Mo. were held February 16 from Faith United Church of Christ with the Rev. Larry Noonan officiating. Mrs. KARRENBROCK, 88, died February 13th at Katie Jane Memorial Home in Warrenton.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wm. (Rosaline) LAUMANN of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) RIEMANS of Sodus, New York; three sisters, Miss Pauline SCHACHER of Wentzville, Mo., Mrs. Nora HART, Old Monroe, Mrs. Olga PATTEN, Tulsa, Okla., two brothers, Fred SCHACHER and Bill SCHACHER, both of Old Monroe; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred and by a son, Meldie.

Burial was in Anderson Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills, with T.E. Pitman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Ed NIEDERJOHN, Wilfred LEITMAN, Gwynn WALLER, George WEBBINK, Elmer BRAND and Ernie WEITKAMP.

Mrs. KARRENBROCK was born in Chain of Rocks, Lincoln County. In infancy she was baptized, later confirmed and also united in marriage in the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Old Monroe. After her marriage in 1911 she moved to Moscow Mills. She had been a resident of Wentzville since 1938. She was a charter member of Faith United Church of Christ and of the Wentzville Community Club. She held membership in Home Demonstration Clubs of Lincoln and St. Charles Counties.
