Obituary for John Marvin Hunn (1940-1999)

Funeral services for John Marvin HUNN were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Troy.

Mr. HUNN, 58, of Troy and formerly of North Little Rock, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

The son of Thomas Vernette and Vera May (GROCE) HUNN, he was born Nov. 13, 1940, near Troy, MO.

He is survived by his mother, Vera HUNN of Union; two daughters, Nona TROWER and husband, John of Troy and Sandra MOORE and husband, Barry of Foley; one son, John HUNN of Silex; a special friend, Martha COULTER of North Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret MEYER of Union and Regina BUENEMAN of Moscow Mills and seven brothers, Victor HUNN and wife, Mildred and Melvin HUNN, all of Bonne Terre, Richard HUNN and wife, Evelyn of St. Ann, Leonard HUNN and wife, Pat of Troy, Francis HUNN and wife, Judy of Warrenton, Glennon HUNN of Bourbon, and Norbert HUNN and wife, Louise of Sparta, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father and two infant children, Robert HUNN and Mary HUNN.

Mr. HUNN grew up in the Troy area. For most of his life he was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He recently returned to Troy after living in North Little Rock for the past 20 years. He is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy.
