Anna Marie HINTON, 81, of Madisonville, Ky., died Dec. 10, 2002, at Fair Park Health Care in Maryville, Tenn. She was born June 18, 1921, to Ralph and Elizabeth (LASTER) SMITH in Portageville.

Mrs. HINTON was a homemaker and a member of the pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Donnie Marie LANE of Wentzville; two sons, Dick HINTON of Seymour, Tenn., and David HINTON of Madisonville, Ky.; three sisters, Wanda YORK of Glendale Heights, Ill., Wilma MALUGEN of Madisonville and Dorothy ADAMS of Homlake, Miss.; one brother, Pete SMITH of Blytheville, Ark.; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John.

Services were Dec. 13 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with burial at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, Ky.
