Obituary for Helen Heitman (1927-1980)

Mrs. Helen HEITMAN of Rt. 3, Troy, passed away in St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis early Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 27, 1980. She was 53 years of age.

The funeral mass was from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy, Saturday morning, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m., conducted by the pastor, Fr. James Flynn. Cliff Leitman was the organist. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Troy. Nephews were her casket bearers.

Mrs. HEITMAN was born in St. Louis County, Mo., Oct. 5, 1927, the daughter of Frank Joseph and Clara Theresa WINDMOELLER WAGNER. She was married Nov. 15, 1947, to Louis HEITMAN and he survives.

She is also survived by one daughter and four sons: Mrs. Dennis (Shirley) LAVY of Troy, Larry HEITMAN of Kansas City, Ronnie HEITMAN of Troy, Rick HEITMAN of Chesterfield and Alan HEITMAN of Troy; two grandchildren; three brothers: Walter WAGNER of Berkeley, Francis WAGNER of Louisiana, and Alfred WAGNER of Troy; three sisters: Sr. Louise WAGNER of St. Louis, Mrs. Victor (Mildred) HUNN of Belridge, and Mrs. Ralph (Mary) KAYSER of Overland; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and innumerable friends.

Mrs. HEITMAN was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Troy and a member of St. Ann’s Sodality of the Church.

Rev. Flynn led the Rosary at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home Friday evening at 8 p.m.
