WM. H. HARRELL

The subject of this notice was born near Brussells, Lincoln county, Sept. 1, 1862, a son of George HARRELL and wife now living near Troy. He was married in Gentry county, Mo., in 1897. The greater part of his life was spent in Lincoln county. He attended school in Ohio and taught two terms in Kentucky. Then went to traveling for a music house and afterwards for the Wrought Iron Range company, being in the employ of the latter about ten years. Later was with an Illinois advertising house and then went into the second-hand furniture business in Troy.

He had been in feeble health for a long time prior to his death, but bore his sufferings with patience, and fortitude. He died Aug. 12, 1910, at the home of his brother Howard in Snow Hill township. He was a member of the Masonic, Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias lodges. The funeral occurred Sunday at Troy in charge of the Masonic lodge and the interment was at the city cemetery. MR. HARRELL left a wife and three children, besides his aged parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters to mourn his death.

He was a quiet, unassuming man, a good citizen, honorable in all his dealings and upright in every walk of life. Our sincere sympathy is extended to all of the bereaved family.
