E. Bayless Harrell Dead

Elisha Bayless HARRELL, of Troy, died at his home here February 2, after a short illness of a complication of diseases, at the age of almost 70 years.

Born near Troy, April 30, 1871, Mr. HARRELL was a son of Charles and Sarah BAYLESS HARRELL. He spent all of his life in this community.

On February 16, 1891, he was married to Frances Alberta GOODRICH. To this union were born two children: Mabel, now Mrs. Eldridge SIMPSON, and Emmett HARRELL, both of Troy, who with the widow survives.

Mr. HARRELL joined the Sugar Creek Methodist Church in 1895 and later moved his membership to the Troy Methodist Church where he remained a member until his death.

Besides his widow and children, he is survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Joe GOODRICH, of Foley, and Mrs. Delia SCHAPER, of Troy and one brother, Herschel, of California.

Funeral services were held at the Troy M. E. Church Tuesday afternoon by Rev. B. B. HARVEY and interment was in the Troy City Cemetery.
