Obituary for Harold Dale Harmon (1941-1984)

Harold Dale HARMON was born June 24, 1941, the youngest child of Herbert Emery and Cleo G. McCAW HARMON.

He passed away late Sunday night, January 15, 1984 in the Medical Center, Columbia, Mo. He lived 42 years, 6 months and 21 days.

Harold Dale received his education in the Lincoln County schools, graduating from Buchanan High School in 1960. After graduation he attended an electronics college in Chicago, and became very proficient in that field. A vocation he followed as his life’s work.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Robert Dale.

He is survived by one son, Gordon Lee HARMON and one daughter, Gena Dale HARMON, one brother, Harlan HARMON, and his wife Audrey, two sisters, Shirley and her husband, Kermit WIEMAN and Theda and her husband, William PRICE, one aunt, Mrs. Lillian CANNON, other relatives and innumerable friends.

Harold Dale was baptized into the Catholic faith.

Harold Dale was a very affable person and had a large scope of friends. They and his family all will miss him from their midst.

The Rev. Robert Hicks, pastor of the Zion United Church of Christ, Troy, conducted funeral services for Harold Dale at 3 o’clock Wednesday, January 18, 1984 from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home, Troy. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Troy.

Casket bearers were Eddie LESTER, Jack HOPKINS, Lloyd EPPARD, Bill HARKE, "Skipper" PEITZMAN and David ROBERTS.
