Obituary for Richard Harding (1915-1982)

Richard R. HARDING, 67, of Wellsville, Mo., died May 23, 1982 at the Audrain Medical Center Hospital in Mexico where he had been a patient for one week.

Mr. HARDING was born March 18, 1915 in Troy, Mo., the son of  Richard N. and Donna REEVES HARDING.

He was married to Bertha M. DUNN on Feb. 18, 1950 and she survives.

For several years Mr. HARDING lived in California where he worked as a machinist for the National Can Company. Mr. HARDING was a member of the Wellsville VFW Post 3056 and a veteran of World War II. He was a member and officer in the Lion’s Club.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Myer’s Funeral Home, Rev. E. Revelle officiating.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Connie WOLF; son, Ronnie HARDING, both from California; three sisters: Mrs. Marguerite E. WILSON of Troy, Mrs. Anna SHEETS of O’Fallon and Mrs. Evlynn SMITH from Florida; one brother, Charles F. HARDING of Oregon and three grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters.
