EMANUAL HANNON

after a long illness extending over several months, died at his farm home between Troy and Moscow Mills last Monday. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in this city on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Robert McIlovy coducting them, after which his remains were taken in charge by Troy Lodge No. 68, I.O.O.F. and interred at the city cemetery.

The large attendance at his funeral by both town and country people was an eloquant testimonial of the esteem in which he was held by his neighbors .

Mr. HANNON was born near Pittsburg, Pa., Sept. 1, 1844, and came to Missouri about 1869. He was married to LAURA WILLIAMS, April 3, 1889, and she and a son about 16 years old are left to mourn his loss. He became a member of the Methodist Church in 1902 and had been an Odd Fellow for several years.

Mr. HANNON was in charge of the road work in the district adjoining Troy for a number of years. He was an energetic worker, cheerful in disposition and fair in his dealings with his fellowman. His death is regretted by the large circle of friends with whom he has been associated in the past years.

Mrs. HANNON desires us to extend her thanks to the neighbors and lodge for their many acts of kindness during his illness......rest is missing
