DIED-

At the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. N. L. HALL, Miss Jane A. HALL, Nov. 17, 1897 at 3 p.m. from the effects of a hard spell of typhoid fever which brought on that dreaded disease, consumption. Miss Jane was born near Old Alexandria, Aug. 10, 1873, and united with the Christian Church at Troy in February, 1890, under the ministry of Elder Winders. She leaves a father and mother, two brothers and three sisters to mourn her early departure. After a few words spoken by Elder R. L. MORTON, Thursday morning, her remains were taken to Old Alexandria cemetery and there consigned to their last resting place in the presence of a large concourse of friends. She lived a true Christian life and was at the time of her death secretary of the Kelly Sunday School. Miss Jane had resided in this vicinity but for a short time, but during her stay with us all learned to like her -- [rest is missing].
